TECHNICAL VISIT – ICWR 2025

We are pleased to offer participants of the 6th International Conference on Water Resources (ICWR 2025) an exclusive opportunity to join a Technical Visit to one from two options of key water infrastructure sites in Malaysia. This optional activity provides a first-hand look at the country’s advanced water resource management systems, offering valuable insights for researchers, engineers, and water industry professionals.

DATE & TIME

25 September 2025 (Thursday)
8: 00 AM – 1 : 00 PM

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation to and from the site will be provided, departing from and returning to The Everly Hotel Putrajaya.

LUNCH INCLUDED

A complimentary lunch will be provided as part of the visit.

LANGAT 2 WATER TREATMENT PLANT

Get an inside look at one of the largest and most modern water treatment facilities in Malaysia. Learn about its cutting-edge treatment, technologies, large-scale distribution systems, and role in supplying water to the Klang Valley.

SEMENYIH DAM

Explore the scenic Semenyih Dam and its surrounding catchment area. Discover how this crucial infrastructure supports water supply and flood mitigation in Selangor, while appreciating the balance between nature and engineering.

PARTICIPANT FEE

Please note that the Technical Visit requires a separate fee of RM200 in addition to the main conference registration.
