AUTHOR GUIDELINES

We welcome high-quality submissions for ICWR 2025 from researchers, professionals, and postgraduate students. Please follow the steps below to complete your registration and paper submission process.

STEP 1: REGISTRATION

All authors must register through the official platform before submitting any documents:

Note: At least one author must register and pay the full fee to present. One registration covers one paper. Additional papers require a separate fee.

STEP 2: EXTENDED ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Authors must submit a 2 pages extended abstract using the template provided. The abstract should include:

    • Paper title
    • Author(s) and affiliation
    • Keywords
    • Background, objectives, methodology, and key findings

All extended abstracts will be included in the official conference programme book.

STEP 3: FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

Upon acceptance of the abstract, authors must submit a full paper (8–10 pages) for publication consideration. All papers must follow the formatting guidelines below

Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines described in the template. All papers must be written in English and submitted in MS Word format (.docx) for both the review process and the final (camera-ready) submission. Papers submitted for presentation and publication must strictly follow the appointed publisher’s formatting requirements.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES

All accepted full papers submitted to ICWR 2025 will be considered for publication in one of the following outlets:

Journal of Water Resources Management (JWORM)

The Journal of Water Resources Management (JWORM) is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually (June and December) by the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Malaysia. It focuses on scientific and technical papers in water management, science, and engineering, aiming to enhance understanding in these fields. The journal encompasses disciplines related to the physical, ecological, and methodological aspects of water management, including numerical and mathematical modeling research and techniques.

Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering (LNCE) by Springer Nature

Selected high-quality papers will be published in the Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering (LNCE) book series by Springer Nature. LNCE publishes the latest developments in civil engineering, covering a wide range of topics such as construction and structural mechanics, geotechnical engineering, hydrology, water resources engineering, environmental engineering, and sustainability. The series is indexed in Scopus, ensuring broad visibility within the academic and professional communities.​
